Connect an identity provider so users can sign in to SchoolDay with single sign-on
In this article
Single sign-on (SSO) lets your district's users sign in to SchoolDay with an existing identity provider — Google, Microsoft, Facebook, or a custom SAML provider — instead of a separate SchoolDay password.
Requirements
- Primary District Admin permissions.
- To use Facebook SSO, the Facebook account must be linked to a username rather than a phone number.
Where to enable it
Enabling SSO is a one-time, per-district setup done from Connect > Administration > Login Methods > Add Identity Provider.
For the full guide, see Activate SSO (IdP) for Organization.
