Learn how SchoolDay integrations work, including import, export, and two-way sync options
SchoolDay integrates with your Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS), and vendor platforms to automate data flow. Use integrations to sync student records, rosters, grades, and other critical data without manual entry.

SchoolDay integrates with:
- SIS: Skyward, PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Aspen, eSchoolPlus
- LMS: Canvas, Blackboard, Google Classroom, Schoology
- Vendor platforms: FinalSite, Lightspeed Systems, CrisisGo

Requirements:
- Role: You must have the Primary District Admin role to create or manage integrations.
- System credentials: API keys, usernames, passwords, or OAuth tokens for the external system.
- Field mappings: Which SchoolDay fields correspond to fields in the external system.
- Data scope: Which data types and records to sync (e.g., all students, specific grades, active users only).
Required permissions
You must have the Primary District Administrator role to create or manage integrations.
Integration workflow
- Plan: Decide which data to sync and choose an integration type (import, export, or two-way).
- Set up: Configure the integration with credentials and field mappings.
- Test: Run a test sync to verify data flows correctly.
- Activate: Enable the integration and set a sync schedule.
- Monitor: Check sync logs to ensure ongoing success.
