How to sync Roster Data to the SchoolDay?
This article outlines the next steps for syncing roster data from your Student Information System (SIS) to SchoolDay.
To sync roster data to the SchoolDay:

Prepare CSV Files:
- Ensure you have the required CSV files ready for upload:
schools.csv,students.csv,teachers.csv,sections.csv, andenrollments.csv. - Each file must adhere to the specified format, including:
- A header row that matches the required header names exactly.
- All files must be present for the upload to be processed.
- Fields highlighted in yellow are ID values used to connect data across files.
- Ensure you have the required CSV files ready for upload:

Set Up Your Admin Account:
- Activate your admin account in SchoolDay. Instructions for account registration will be sent via email. Note that the link expires in 24 hours.

Access SchoolDay:
- Log in to the SchoolDay using your admin account.
- Start typing your district's name and select it from the drop-down list.

Obtain SFTP Credentials:
- Navigate to Home > SFTP Import app.
- Click on the "Key" icon at the upper-right corner to access your SFTP credentials.
- Save the following details:
- Protocol: SFTP
- Host: upload.gg4l.com
- Port: 22
- Username and Password (provided in the pop-up window).

Upload Data to the SFTP Server:
- Use an FTP client (such as FileZilla or WinSCP) to connect to the SFTP server.
- Create a new session in your FTP client using the SFTP credentials.
- Drag and drop your CSV files into the remote server's directory to upload them.

Notify SchoolDay Support:
- Once the upload is complete, inform SchoolDay support so they can initiate the data validation process.
