District Application Report (Export to CSV)

The District Application Report provides a list of applications available to your organization, along with key details such as application name, URL, tags, usage across the organization, and most active users.

Use this report to see which apps are deployed, where they’re used, and privacy risk assessments.

Before you begin

  • Sign in as an admin with permission to run reports.
  • If your organization doesn’t yet have the District Application Report available, contact SchoolDay Support to request it.

Run the report

  1. In the PGC, go to Reports > District Application Report.
  2. (Optional) Use filters or search to narrow the list of applications.
  3. Click Export to CSV. The report will be prepared, and a CSV file will be downloaded to your computer.

Results

The generated report includes the following fields. 

Core Application Information

Field Name

Description

Name

The official name of the application.

URL

The primary web address used to access the application.

Assigned Tags

A list of all tags (e.g., "Math," "Paid," "Pilot") associated with the app, separated by a pipe (

Usage & Adoption Metrics

Field Name

Number of Active Users

Total unique users who accessed the app in the last 12 months.

Usage time (minutes)

Cumulative time spent in the application over the last 12 months.

Most Active Schools

The top 5 schools within the district with the highest engagement.

Most Active Users

The top 5 individual users are based on the duration of their activity.

Governance & Review Status

Field Name

Description

Risk Score

A calculated value representing the overall safety/security risk of the app.

Awaiting Review Status

Indicates if the app is currently in the queue for administrative approval.

In Review Status

Indicates if an admin is currently evaluating the application.

Approved for Use

Confirms if the application has been officially greenlit for district use.

Rejected for Use

Indicates if the app has been formally banned or declined.

PII Detection

These fields indicate whether the application is known or suspected to collect specific types of sensitive data.

Detected PII Usage

Verified collection of First Name, Last Name, or Email Address.

Suspected PII Usage

Potential collection of Names, Emails, Physical Addresses, Phone Numbers, or SSNs based on app behavior or permissions.

AI Privacy Policy Review Scores

These scores are generated by an AI analysis of the application's privacy policy (typically on a scale, where higher or lower indicates specific risk levels).

The aggregated AI rating for the entire privacy policy.

Data Sharing Score

Evaluates how much data is shared with third parties.

User Rights Score

Measures how well the app respects user data deletion/access requests.

Security/Retention

Scores for Security Measures and how long data is kept (Retention Period).

Clarity & Updates

Evaluates Overall Clarity and how the vendor handles Policy Updates.

Industry Certifications (1EdTech)

Specific 1EdTech rubric scores for Data Collection, Security, 3rd Party Data, and Advertising.
