Features
Automatic email updates for Coursera accounts
Audience: District Admin
When enabled for your organization, SchoolDay checks a user's Coursera email during sign-in and updates it automatically if it no longer matches their SchoolDay email. This eliminates the need for manual email corrections in the Coursera Admin Panel. Covers email updates only; no removal, role, or enrollment changes. See Coursera Integration Q&A.
Note: This feature currently applies only to accounts created after its activation. Accounts previously generated automatically in Coursera are not yet supported.
HTTP delivery for export
Audience: Vendor Admin
Export data sources can now deliver a district's CSV to a vendor's HTTP endpoint instead of uploading it to an SFTP server, for vendors that receive data through an API. Off by default; enabled per vendor by SchoolDay Support on request. See Receive roster data via HTTP delivery
Updates
SSH key authentication for SFTP export data sources
Audience: District Admin, Vendor Admin
SFTP exports now support SSH key pair authentication. This update allows you to connect to servers that require key-based authentication instead of a username and password. To use this feature, generate an SSH key pair in SchoolDay. The private key is stored securely and is never displayed. You can then provide the public key to your remote server administrator. If you do not configure an SSH key, SchoolDay continues to use your existing username and password credentials.
See Authenticate SFTP exports with a password or SSH key (district admin) or Set up SSH key authentication for your SFTP app (vendor admin)
